Join Lorna and learn how to create this fabulous mini album using envelopes and chipboard. This class includes a complete 8 X 8 G45 Typography Paper Pad so you'll have a lot left over to embellish to your hearts content. You'll also receive a full package of Prima flowers. This class is perfect for all levels of crafters and you'll leave the class with a fantastic mini albums that has journaling spots and pouches to hold additional pictures or keepsakes.

Time to say Good bye....

Hi All!

 Owning The Inked Stamper has been such a crazy roller coaster the last 3 years, lots of ups, lots of curves and lots of downs too. Many of you have been on this crazy ride with me the whole time, and I thank you for that, I thank all of you for being on it with me, and for staying on it too! Now it is time to say good-bye....good-bye to the noisy furnace that has driven us NUTS....good-bye to the bad parking....good bye to listening to the trainers next door teaching their classes louder then mine....I say good bye to all of that! This li'l store has grown so much, it is time to MOVE IT ON UP! That's right folks, The Inked Stamper is MOVING to larger, nicer location to serve you better!!! Bigger store, larger class room, LOADS of parking! AND NO LOUD FURNACE! The new stores furnace is no where to be seen, WAHOO! We will have glorious heat with no sound, and wonderful A/C in the summer! The New location is on Mckenney Avenue, still in St Albert! Next door to Dance Co. and in the same parking lot as Seasons Gift Shop (don't worry, I'm building a sound proof wall). This is such a great women's strip mall and still VERY EASILY assessable for all you ladies from Edmonton and further who come on the Hendy! You'll still take Ray Gibbon Drive exit, but you'll pass my normal turn and take your next right 1 min down the road, on to Mckenney Ave! Sorry, been so BUSY no time to blog! If you haven't been down to the shop in the past...well few days...GET DOWN THERE! I have added thousands of dollars worth of GORGEOUS NEW PRODUCTS to the floor!!!! THE STORE IS PACKED with prettiness! Shelves are full, and samples are up, so LOTS of inspiration! Plus my designers have been popping out the most amazing classes too!!!  I'll post March's ones now..April's ones in next week.

Hi All! 

We have been working like mad this week stocking the shelves with LOADS of NEW products...and next week LOADS more will be ADDED!  The Prima Mixed Media Girls have been selling like CRAZY!!!! So if you don't want to miss out, get down ASAP or phone to purchase! 

My online store is ALMOST ready, believe it or not, I'm working on an even a BIGGER deal right now that is prioritizing my time, there are just not enough hours in the day! BUT it is up and running for DINA WAKLEY CLASS REGISTRATIONS! CLICK the SHOP The Inked Stamper Tab at the top of the blog below my pinup girl!  Make sure you click on the CLASSES tab too! There are still a few spaces left in some of the card classes AND I'll be added more classes next week too! A NEW Designer will be doing a Journaling Font Class!!! Lorna's long awaited for Mini ALBUM will be announced too!  Courteney has some ideas cooking in her pretty little head, so expect some Prima and G45 classes up soon too!  As for me, I'll be adding a Hooting Mommy  and Me Class for March and a Mixed Media one....that I'll work on I hope this week!  So SAVE the DATE MARCH 26 will be the next Mixed Media with Dawn. No idea WHAT it's gonna be until I sit down and play! OH I'll be adding another Mixed Media Class to the schedule too, this one will be KID FRIENDLY 1 hour Mixed Media Class! Anyone welcome, so if you want to jump in with yours kids, no problem! Spots for that one will be $20/person, and I'll make sure nothing more then a basic kit will be required.

Design Challenge #2 Bo Bunny Our Lil' Monster

Challenge #2 is with Bo Bunny's Lil' Monster Line!! Purchase anything you want from this line, (from The Inked Stamper obviously); make a project with it and bring in into the shop by Saturday March 15. It will be put up on display, and people will vote on it! Winner receives a Mini Kit for Challenge #3, plus $10 off their next purchase. Dina Wakley Registration LIVE tomorrow 8AM

Hi All! This is how REGISTRATION for Dina Wakley Classes will go down. 

1) Register your account online NOW by click on the tab right above you saying SHOP The Inked Stamper Online

2) Sign up for Classes OPENS tomorrow (Feb 22) at 8am  (MST) and CLOSES at 10am (MST) online. Pay by Paypal, your done; if you choose Pay in Store option, you MUST come into the shop between 10am-4 pm and pay, or your class space will be released. This is not negotiable. You may also phone in your CC, but expect delays. This way NO one is left out! 

3) If there are still spaces available after 10am; these will be available IN STORE ONLY, you may try to phone, again expect delays. I only have one line. 

Please NOTE you will not be able to see any Classes up on the website till 8am. Right now, you just need to make your account, it takes 30 seconds, but it will make your morning less stressful if you do it now. Products will be up next week. THANKS so much!

Ranger Signature Designer coming to The Inked Stamper

Hi All! 

I am so UNBELIEVABLY excited to announce that Ranger Inks newest Signature Designer, DINA WAKLEY is coming to The Inked Stamper!!!!! Yes, my humble little shop!  I've been chatting with Dina for a year trying to find a date that would work, and we did! She is squeezing us in her very busy schedule June 17, 18,19!  We are in the process of choosing which of her AMAZING CLASSES to run! I do know that there will be one 6 hour Class, and four 3 hour Classes.  As it is during the week, the 6 hour Class will start at 3:00 so you working folks will only have to take a few hours off work.    But you may want to book a day off anyways to join as many classes as you can! It's not often we get such a HUGE, FABULOUS, AMAZING Mixed Media Artist up this neck of the woods!!!  So start arranging your days off, saving your nickles, I will announce the classes as soon as I've narrowed down the ones for Dina to teach, there are so many GREAT choices, and so little time to teach them all!

Join me, Dawn, in this months Mixed Media Class.  As with all my MM classes, it is your choice to either bring your own Art Journal (Dylusions recommended) OR bring a 12x12 Ranger Manilla Sheet.  As I teach the class in full, no experience is required! 

This months class technique is making a Faux Leather Background! Its FABULOUS and I can’t wait to share it with you! Class fee includes a package of FabScrap Chipboard Fairy Wings, you’ll use one set on the project and there will be a small set left to take home.  Fee also includes use of store spray and paints. 

Supply List

Old  Book Paper; Small Scissors; GLOSSY Multi Medium with paint brush, Ink Blending Tool and 3 varying shades of brown ink pads*  Black Coal Prima Fluid Chalk ink (optional**); Archival Jet Black***; (Optional) Black Pitt big brush pen or soft charcoal to accent;  paper towel, water cup, baby wipes

• Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs Distress is what I used

Join me on February 10 for this beautiful Prima inspired Canvas Class.  This canvas is perfect for that special 5x7 picture that you want out on display! Not to feminine and not to masculine, it’s a great mix! The canvas will be painted, textured, full of layers and embellishments! It is just stunning in person, pop into the shop to see it, the pictures do it zero justice! Class fee includes all supplies you need to complete the project! Paints (Pearlise), embossing powder (Lindy’s Stamp Gang), Gel Medium & Stencils.  All you need to bring are your tools and Adhesives listed in the supply list.

Streampunked Echo Park

Hi All!

This past weekend in the shop was the first full weekend CROP of 2014; there will be lots more this year!  Friday Crops will be back on the regular schedule from now on, I'd also like to put $10 Saturday lunch Crops up too!   

So I've great new samples to go up in the shop for you, including this one.  I made it with Echo Park's Times and Seasons 2; this is a FABULOUS line, perfect for steampunk, men's projects or just about anything you can imagine! I used the matching sticky back chipboard pieces, added some Prima Flowers, embellishments and wood gears, some Tim Holtz metal gears, dies cut gears and metal accents.  I also used G45 Steampunk Spells stamp set and made that funky steampunk hat embellishment with UTEE. I finished it off by using Viva's Maya Gold in bronze and black.  Love how this turned out! Hope you do too.  Pop down to the shop to check it out in person, it's so textured and layered and the pictures does it no justice.

Make sure you check out the Class Schedule Sherry's class has 3 spaces left and Courteney's was sold out but she found enough supplies to ADD 3 MORE! I've also got space in the Mixed Media Class this month, you can do it in your Art Journal OR on a 12x12 Ranger Manilla Sheet and turn it into a layout.  That's what I do my in class sample on!

I'm very happy to announce this class! It turned out even better on paper then it did in my head! LOL! In this months class you are going to learn loads of techniques of course, but the main one will be how to make a marbled background with Dylusions Spray ink and a little somethin' somethin'! We'll be playing with Sprays, "somethin' somethin" (aka I'm not telling)  Paints, Modeling paste, Glitter and lots more in this fab class!  Class includes the stencil you'll be making your background with,  use of Dylusions Spray, Modeling Paste and Glitter! So your supply list looks big, but it's mainly normal tools.  Please don't bring extra items to class as table space is limited.

  Don't miss out, sign up early, this class always sell out!  As always, you may choose to bring your Art Journal (Dylusions recommended) OR 2- 12x12 Ranger Manilla Sheets to make it into a scrapbook layout.  We will only be using 1 in class, but you need the 2nd to blot off ink.  

Homework: NONE! DO NOT GESSO!

PAPER TOWELS, Water Spray bottle, Paint brush, white Gesso,  Multi-Medium Glue with brush, Metallic Green Gelly Roll, White Gelly Roll,  Scissors, Black water based Marker (I used Faber Castell)  CHOP STICK, Palette knife, Black Ink Pad and sponge (or use Prima Fluid Chalk ink in Coal), * I used Lime Green Liquid Pearls, you can use any color you want, but I'd do it at home after as it takes a long time to dry
