Join me on February 10 for this beautiful Prima inspired Canvas Class.  This canvas is perfect for that special 5x7 picture that you want out on display! Not to feminine and not to masculine, it’s a great mix! The canvas will be painted, textured, full of layers and embellishments! It is just stunning in person, pop into the shop to see it, the pictures do it zero justice! Class fee includes all supplies you need to complete the project! Paints (Pearlise), embossing powder (Lindy’s Stamp Gang), Gel Medium & Stencils.  All you need to bring are your tools and Adhesives listed in the supply list.

Supply List: Mulit-Medium Glue with Brush; Sookwang, Pop dots, Fabri-tac, Craft Knife with large cutting mat, 1/2” to 1” paint brush, 5x7 photo (mine is sepia, vertical) , Baby Wipes, Blending Tool with Favorite shade of Brown Distress Ink pad

Streampunked Echo Park

Hi All!

This past weekend in the shop was the first full weekend CROP of 2014; there will be lots more this year!  Friday Crops will be back on the regular schedule from now on, I'd also like to put $10 Saturday lunch Crops up too!   

So I've great new samples to go up in the shop for you, including this one.  I made it with Echo Park's Times and Seasons 2; this is a FABULOUS line, perfect for steampunk, men's projects or just about anything you can imagine! I used the matching sticky back chipboard pieces, added some Prima Flowers, embellishments and wood gears, some Tim Holtz metal gears, dies cut gears and metal accents.  I also used G45 Steampunk Spells stamp set and made that funky steampunk hat embellishment with UTEE. I finished it off by using Viva's Maya Gold in bronze and black.  Love how this turned out! Hope you do too.  Pop down to the shop to check it out in person, it's so textured and layered and the pictures does it no justice.

I've also got space in the Mixed Media Class this month, you can do it in your Art Journal OR on a 12x12 Ranger Manilla Sheet and turn it into a layout.  That's what I do my in class sample on!

I'm very happy to announce this class! It turned out even better on paper then it did in my head! LOL! In this months class you are going to learn loads of techniques of course, but the main one will be how to make a marbled background with Dylusions Spray ink and a little somethin' somethin'! We'll be playing with Sprays, "somethin' somethin" (aka I'm not telling)  Paints, Modeling paste, Glitter and lots more in this fab class!  Class includes the stencil you'll be making your background with,  use of Dylusions Spray, Modeling Paste and Glitter! So your supply list looks big, but it's mainly normal tools.  Please don't bring extra items to class as table space is limited.

  Don't miss out, sign up early, this class always sell out!  As always, you may choose to bring your Art Journal (Dylusions recommended) OR 2- 12x12 Ranger Manilla Sheets to make it into a scrapbook layout.  We will only be using 1 in class, but you need the 2nd to blot off ink.  

Homework: NONE! DO NOT GESSO!

PAPER TOWELS, Water Spray bottle, Paint brush, white Gesso,  Multi-Medium Glue with brush, Metallic Green Gelly Roll, White Gelly Roll,  Scissors, Black water based Marker (I used Faber Castell)  CHOP STICK, Palette knife, Black Ink Pad and sponge (or use Prima Fluid Chalk ink in Coal), * I used Lime Green Liquid Pearls, you can use any color you want, but I'd do it at home after as it takes a long time to dry

I could use a few extra heat tools too, if you have one to use in the class can you please bring it, THANKS!

Ring in 2014 with the fabulous Steampunk Pretty, single layout class. In this class you will be learning how to playing with the super amazing Magic Stamp Foam to create a mirror image, embossing powder and some awesome Viva Gold paint! The layout is full of gorgeous Prima Embellishments and a funking Tim Holtz Stencil to customize it to your taste! 

*your layout will not have the numbers on the bottom unless you purchase the Sticker sheet ($4.50), instead I'll have black and white washi available that you can choose from.

All you need to bring to class is your adhesives, pop dots, scissors and your favorite shade of brown Distress ink with Blending tool.

Today's layout is made with Echo Park's Reflection Christmas Kit, this is such a fabulously, vintage vibe collection and I love it! I have the full kit in shop, and also in individual sheets too. I also used My Favorite Things Ornament Stamps and matching Die; been using these a lot lately cause they are FABULOUS! So easy to make those cute ornaments, takes 2 seconds to die cut the strip out, and about 10 seconds to stamp in the ornaments to make a custom matched embellishment for your project! I finished the layout off with making a few more fleur/snowflake embellishments with Heartfelt Creations Sweet Juliet Die! Again, I'm in love with this die! You can change it up so easy to make flowers, starbursts or snowflakes! Great versatile die to purchase!

Bo Bunny and Sweet Juliet Snowflake

Hi All

I'm really happy how this layout I made turned out, I think it's so pretty, which is not my normal style.  I used the Bo Bunny Wonderland Winter paper collection (which I love) and a few gorgeous dies from Heartfelt Creation; Sweet Juliet and the Decorative Blossom Corner for the flourish on the top right.  The Sweet Juliet Die is what I used to make that AMAZING snowflake! All you need is a pretty brad, and you just fold the flower back on itself! EASY and Pretty.  You can also make it look like a gorgeous flower by folding all layers back.  The brad I used is the new Karen Fosters Sparkles! Again, LOVE these! I'm on my second pack! I have them in a few color choices in the shop!

Lawn Fawn Cuteness!

Sorry, been neglecting the blog again! I know the weather has change for the worst and winter has officially made it's presents known, but the roads have been cleared and sanded, I hope you'll make the trip out to visit the shop! It's packed FULL with WINTER and CHRISTMAS goodies for you to create away to your hearts content.  What a better way to spend your snowy weekend then stocking up on NEW goodies and scrapping the weekend away?  There is a $5 CROP on tonight at the SHOP, call to register!!!
