Sexy with a side of Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone
Today's LO is for a  Design Team  call over at Twisted Sketches; if you ever wanted to be on a DT, get scrappin' and apply!  July 3 is the deadline and it is a sweet sketch up for it with the twist being "music".  So for my LO I choose to use SU! the music sheet paper from the  New DSP Newsprint , which will be available to purchase July 1. (Fleur de lis paper Non-SU!) . I also used the NEW Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon to lace up my eyelets.  Another sneak peek for you is the Crumb Cake Ink I used to distress my papers and to stamp my Eiffel Town along the left side of my page, with the NEW stamp set Artistic Etchings. Just click on the page to make it larger to see the details.  Last little sneak peak is the Cherry Cobbler matting on the picture on the left! Love this color! Gorgeous! Come back tomorrow to see another sneak peak on the card I made for Twisted Sketches Card #13.
It's hard to tell in the picture but that red paper is actually crushed velvet: gives the LO a real sexy vibe! And lets face it; these shoes a drop dead SEXY!  If you don't know what Christian Louboutin Shoes are, you going to have to hand your "girl card" back in....these are just the worlds most drop dead sexy shoes!!! Even if your just wearing sweat pants, you will look like a bombshell in a pair of these beauties! Odd, but bombshell none the less!

This is the first time I've been published and it totally feels AWESOME!!!! The fist one is my Green Day LO " I hope you had the time of your Life", and it is on page 14 and I sooo love it, it looks like an AD!  I need to go buy another magazine cause I need to cut it out a scrap it! HAHA I'm going to scrap my scrap!  My 2nd LO is "Vamp Tramp" on page 110; they even printed a suggestion I made! WAHOO....

Monday ADTHIS challenge: Vamp Tramp

Published in Spring Edition, 2010 Canadian Scrapbooker

Hi Everyone
I am back in town..but am a wee bit cranky! I have been looking for my camera cord for about 4 hours now! AND I still can not find it, so I can't share all the awesome pictures I have from Founders Circle...or put up my special yet! SOO you will just have to come back and check in tomorrow and hope(pray) that I have found my cord. I will say SU! is amazing and treated us like Stamping Diva Queens for 5 amazing days.
BUT for today's post I have the AD THIS Monday Challenge. The AD is on the left and I took a ton of inspiration from this LO: I loved the collage of people, the color, and the overall LO. In case you are not a vampire freak like me...my page is full of pictures from True Blood, the HBO series based on the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. The books are FAB and I raced through them this summer plus another series of Vamp books by J.R. Ward called the Black Dagger Brotherhood. So I thought it would be fun to do a VAMP TRAMP page...scrapping and reading Vamp books are my favorite relaxing hobbies. For my page I used
SU! Products
Whisper White Textured C/S & Real Red C/S
Night of Navy, Real Red, Basic Grey Classic Ink pads
Night of Navy Re-inker (mixed with White paint and painted on with stipple brush)
Extreme Elements (MY FAV SET) &Calendar Alphabet &Numbers Stamp sets
Mini Library Cips, Black Brads
Modern Label Punch, Corner round punch
Non SU!
glimmer mist & Thickers
Snail, dimensionals
Hope it inspires you to make a page! Leave your comment and let me know what you think. Keep your fingers crossed for me to find my cord!

Week 1 Challenge

Published Spring Edition 2010 Canadian Scrapbooker
Hi Everyone
Ok here is today's Monday challenge from over at AD THIS & here is my page I did for it!
I thought I should explain how the Ad's work...,you are to take inspiration form the AD in any way you see fit. It may be the color...the actual layout of the ad...the fonts..the theme..the possibilities are endless, it is what YOU see. I took inspiration from the theme "music" and the record.
I got the pics from the Green Day web site that were taken at the Edmonton concert this summer; the little arrow on the picture is actually pointing to ME! I am a pin dot, but it is ME and my awesome friend Holly! I had such a blast doing this LO! This was the BEST concert that I have ever been too, so doing this page totally reminded me of it! All around the edges I wrote the lyrics to "Good Riddance(Time of you Life)" as it just seemed so appropriate cause I did! I took a couple of blank disks and stamped with Stazon ink and the Wild West Alphabet (my fav font stamp set!) The stamp a ma jig was total must for this! My embellishments were sequence I bought cause I knew they would be awesome on a scrap page and I think they look pretty cool here on the disks; I cut out the parenthesis (vintage music sheet thanks to Candace) with the new exclusive SU! Big shot die Hearts & Brackets; I did this all on Kraft 12x12 paper that I used a mask on and glimmer mist. I love making my own pattered paper!
Hope you like the LO and get some great inspiration from the AD, go on over and check it out and leave some love here while your at it..I love reading comments!
