Kits for Cancer

Hi Everyone
No project today; but I have just put a bunch of kits together to raise money for the Weekend to End Woman's Cancers.  Next Saturday I will be doing the 30km walk, but I need to raise all my donation of $1250 first, now I am close! I need around $200 more, so I put these kits together to reach my goal! I've donated all these supplies so 100% of the cost of these kits will be donation towards the walk.  The top picture kits are a minimum donation of $20 and I have 3 kits; middle kits min $10 also 3 kits; and bottom is min $25 donation and I only have 1.  All are valued over the min donation.  These are local pick up only: so Edmonton Area.  If you need it mailed to you, you will have to pay shipping as I am already donating these kits. I'm sure you understand.  All donations over $10 will receive a tax receipt via emai as well!
I have placed these on my Facebook page as well; please email me(theinkedstamper@gmail.com ) or phone 780-973-3202,  ASAP if there is a kit that you want to make sure it is not gone.  Please donate HERE!  If you do not want a kit and just would like to donate, please feel free to!
THANK YOU so much for your support!

Memorable Memo's Board

Hi Everyone
Just a quickie post today; busy day with the twins.  We are off to meet some school friends to play at the splash park this morning then off to Capital X late afternoon/evening! Crazy day for me!!! Hope the boys hold up!
Anyways...here is my project today; a Memorable Memo Board made with all SU! except the frame.  I am going to offer this up as a class in September, so if you are in the Edmonton, AB area please stay turned for details.  For the class, you'll be making a few more magnets and push pins, plus you can choose your own colors and pattern paper.  Now you are probable wondering how I made this with all SU!? Well SU! now sells Cork sheets(119819, $12.95/6) and Magnet Sheets (119816, $12.95/3) both come in 6x13" size.  They are perfect for cutting through the Big Shot to make shapes, but with this project I just cut them off.  The Magnet Sheets are even self adhesive! WOW! The awesome things you can make with these!  I have sooo many ideas!  Again, check back for those!!  Both these products will get your inspirational juices flowing!
Please leave a comment if your interested in joining the class, I will contact you when I have a date. If your not by me but live in Canada, you can order the supplies off of my On-Line Store with the link on you right.  Once you order the supplies, I will email you the directions on how to make this awesome Memo board.    Please feel free to leave a comment if you like it! Comments make my day!

Twisted Cards #17: Late!

Hi Everyone
Well we are back from camping; it was great and I love my trailer! What I loved most is having my boys away from electronics for the week though! Just good old fashion outside playing!
So anyways...here is my card for Saturday's Twisted Sketches Card #17: this weeks Twist is Glitter!!  Well with a twist like that, I just had to do a girly card!  And as soon as I saw the sketch I knew exactly which new stamp set I was going to use!
Supplies
Stamps: Aviary cling mount with clear blocks
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo
Ink: Old Olive ( Marker) , Melon Mambo( Marker), Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight
Accessories: Tissue Paper, #2 Circle Die, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder,Alphabet Simple Letters Die, Chipboard, Big Shot, Two Step Bird XL punch (used wings for leaves), Jewels(NEW adhesive Rhinestones!!!), Fine Supernova Glitter Aqua, 2-Way Glue pen

In keeping with my special this month of FREE markers with $100 online orders; I used some markers to make this card.  This awesome stamp set come with on stamp that is the stem of the bird cage, and the easies way to change the height is to just use a marker to color the stem as long as you want, easy! I used a lot of SU! NEW products on this card; like those cute adhesive backed Rhinestones, love them!!! Plus the new embossing folder is just awesome; I used daffodil delight card stock them rubbed my daffodil delight ink pad over top to highlight it! So easy and just makes the embossing pop! One last detail; my letter were too big for the card so I just chopped them down a bit to make the scale better for the card.
I know I promised a tutorial up, and I have recorded it, but I am at the mercy of waiting for my husband to download it off the camera from me! So soon I hope!

Hi Everyone
Ok this should make up for my lack of posts this summer! Lot's of pics for you with this double layout!  It's another rainy day here in the Edmonton area so today I decided to play with my new box of SU! goodies that arrived late last week; I've been soo busy today has been my first chance to play.  And this is what I came up with; a double layout of my little hams goofing around for the camera after their soccer fest.  I just love these pics of them, and I am soo please with how the LO's turned out!  Most of the embellishments came from the awesome new kit Play Date Quick accents which are sticky die cuts! They match the Play Date DSP (pattern paper for you non SU! folks); I really love this collection; honestly it is not my normal style and as soon as I saw it I was so attracted to it!!  It's hard to see in the picture, but under neath the marble accent is one of the mushroom stickers from the kit, it looks soo cute!  I also distressed all the papers with the New Distessing Essentials kit which truely is amazing! LOVE IT!
The cute owls were made with SU!'s cool new 2 Step Owl punch; this thing just ROCKS!  Seriously, look at them, don't you just love them!  Now I'm still having trouble figuring out how to download my tutorials; but Angie Juda is a USA demo & she has a great tutorial up on this cute owls, so you should go watch it after you read my post first, LOL!  Click HERE

Hostess with the Mostess Promotion

Hi Everyone
A few weeks ago I posted that I had a big announcement coming soon; so today, I thought I would announce it!
Hostess With the Mostest Extravaganza

2 Months of Freebies

I love my Hostesses, with out you, I would not have a successful business. Now it is time for me to THANK YOU! Starting September 1st till October 3rd, I will be running the Hostess with the Mostest Promotion. This is only available through ME, this is NOT an SU! promotion but an Inked Stamper Promotion!!

Starting September, the first 10 workshops booked/month will be eligible to earn the BIG SHOT or My Digital Studio for FREE! This is not a typing error, FREE is correct! FREE FREE FREE! Your choice! I will bring them to your Workshop & you will receive your pick for FREE THAT NIGHT! How will you choose? Tough choice, but I'm sure you'll manage! How do you earn one of these awesome goodies for free? EASY!
  1. Book a Workshop within the dates: Sept-October, Scrapbook, Card, 3D or Decor
  2. Have sales of $600 at your event
  3. Have 2 of your Friends Book their OWN workshop so they can earn their own Big Shot or MDS for FREE!
Now I've set the requirements at a nice easy level! My average workshop is around the $500 mark and my average booking/show is 1.75, so these are easily achievable and I intend to have EVERY hostess reach these targets! I want to make you ALL happy! My advice is to BOOK early: only the first 10 workshops/month are going to be Hostess with the Mostest Workshops; plus the earlier you book, the easier it will be for your friends to earn their own BIG SHOT or MDS for FREE! That way you will not have to share your Big Shot! If you already own both the Big Shot & MDS, we can work out a substitution.

Hailey'sPosse's Party Projects

Hi Everyone
I just wanted to start this post off by saying I have actually recorded my first tutorial to show some techniques to use our SU! markers with, BUT apparently my video camera does not want to co-operate and I'm having trouble downloading it on my computer.  So I'm trying!
Today's pictures are of the awesome  projects made by Hailey & her Posse of Awesome Girls at her 9th birthday party that I had the pleasure of teaching at! All the girls were fantastic and everyone enjoyed making their projects; and I enjoyed teaching them!  I put my sample up to show the girls; they each picked their papers; we made the flowers together and I told them that this is THEIR project and I wanted them to use their creative juices to make it special just for them, and the top picture show just how creative the girls were! How cute!  The bottom picture is of the special b-day girl herself Hailey(right) and her gorgeous big sister!  I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Annette who is Hailey's Mom & her wonderful family!  |Annette helped all the girls; cut the material with the Big Shot  while her amazing husband help by gluing the bobby pins onto the felt for the girls to make their hair pins (Hailey's is in her hair);PLUS Annette's parents were there and they helped out too!  The party was such a success because everyone helped out and it just ran sooo smoothly!  So thank you for an amazing class!
Happy Birthday week Hailey! ;)

Marshmallow Lollipop Yumminess!

Hi Everyone
Ok, not a paper craft today; but these were just to cute not to share. Now first I must say these are not my idea; just found them hunting around the internet; just google marshmallow lollipops to see all the great ideas! Now they do take a little longer to make then I though; but that could be because I made 50.  But soo worth the time; everyone loved them at the BBQ we brought them too, and the twins really enjoyed helping me make them.  Just wish I would have had time to take a better picture of them...should have tied a ribbon around the glass! But as usual, I under estimated the time to make them and we were late for the BBQ!
Anyways..these little gems are actually marshmallows covered in melted chocolate, crushed peanuts and colored cake sugars.  I think on the blog I found them she used white chocolate, so the sugar showed up much better, but I hate white chocolate!
Supplies:
Marshmallow
Melting Chocolates ( I used left over Easter chocolate plus I bought some melting choc from the craft store)
Chopped Nuts
Colored Sugar
Sucker Sticks (craft store)

Twisted Sketches #15 with In Color Markers

Hi Everyone
Here is my sketch for this weeks awesome Twisted Sketches Card Sketch; this weeks twist is FRAME. This will be the card I make in my tutorial next week, so I won't explain too much now.  I made it with the new In-Color Markers & Card Stock and the new stamp set Friends Never Fade.  I made my frame with retired ribbon from the Beachfront collection that is available on the Clearance Rack for only $5.99 for 5 design & 30ft of ribbon! I then used my marker to color the edges of the ribbon. Again; I'll put that on the tutorial.
Don't forget that I'm giving away a FREE package of In-Color Marker with all On-Line Orders; read more here; and you can double up on freebies by purchasing the new color kits by SU! and get free Card stock too! Read more HERE.

No ink pads? No problem, how about some FREE markers?

Hi Everyone
Hope you all had a great long week end: Canada Day & 4th of July for you Americans!  We had a nice Canada Day week end; we went up camping to my parents & sister's lake lots.  My brother and his family came up so we were all there: 8 adults, 7 kids, 5 dogs, & 2 cats! LOL! Only some of the cats come camping, between the 4 families, 6 cats stayed home. We're an animal loving bunch!  We tented it this week end, but next week end, fingers crossed we'll be in our new to us, trailer! Wahoo, hub's is test driving his pick-up truck tonight...notice I say his; he already has his heart set on one we scoped out last night.
Anyways...onto the card; I'm off to go test drive the truck too!
Ok today's card is made with the awesome new In Color Markers; as I'm offering them up for FREE with all on-line orders over $100(pre s/h & tax); thought I better show you WHY you want them!  Well I used NO ink pads to make this gorgeous card; only markers.  I used a technique called "thumping".  First I colored the stem of the hydrangea from the Because I Care Hostess level 1 stamp set with the marker PEAR PIZZAZZ; next I colored the flower with the marker BLUSHING BRIDE ; them I took the ROSE RED marker which is not an in-color, but is the dynamic duo to blushing bride. ( Zoom in on the picture to see the card from the new Color coach!)  With the rose red, I colored around the edges and gently thumped down in random spots around the flower.  Next you need to re-moisten the stamp by "huffing" on it; not blowing, but warm huffing breaths on it. A little tip: do not use the end or tip of you marker, instead use th side edge.  Thsi way you will not blunt your marker.Next you just stamp it down! I'm going to go buy a tripod for my video camera and attempt to do a tutorial on this technique. I did the same thing with the greeting but I also used Early Espresso marker.  Check back soon!

All the colors on the card were picked with the amazing new color coach, I just love this thing! The front of the card is a the Color you choose; in my case Blushing Bride; flip to the back (in picture) and it has 2 color combo's for you plus and dynamic duo if possible! This thing is awesome for the color challenged folks like me!
Any hoo, I'm late for the test drive!
See you and thanks for stopping by
