Art Journaling with Stampotique

Hi All!

I am a HUGE fan of art journaling; for me it's just another creative way for me to express my love of making a mess! ;)  An art journal is personal...it's YOUR! It's not meant to follow rule...it's meant to break and explore..it's meant to get you outside your box and try new mediums, and find new ways to express yourself.  Unlike a scrapbook, which you will probable show EVERYONE who will look at it, your journal is your personal work of art that you may or may not want to share.  But as I own a store..I tend to share mine. 

Here is my latest page I just finished and I'm very happy with it. I use a Dylusions Art Journal, I sell them at the shop and am very happy with them.  My color palette was picked by Stampotique Designers Challenge: Red, Pink & White.

Here is the 2 minute low down of what I did:   I started with a base of Dylsuions Bubblegum Pink spray and Heidi Swapps Sweet Cherry spray. I used Claudine Hellmuth red paint mixed with light modelling paste to make my heart; so it's lovely and textured which the camera doesn't pick up.  I also used Claudine Hellmuth Blank Canvas white paint, a Ranger craft scrapper and a Crafters Workshop circle stencil to make the little circles all around the pages. I stamped with Stampotique's  Queen of Life Stamp (she's holding twin babies! the original image she kinda has a forlorn frown, I used a black pen and curved her frown upside down!. Next I wrote LOVE with a Faber Castell PITT big brush pen; and highlight it with a White Gelly Roll; used a few other Gelly Rolls on the stamped image too.  I finished off with highlighting around both pages with a Charcoal pencil, white paint and my finger, and red and black PanPastels.
