Published Spring Edition 2010 Canadian Scrapbooker
Hi Everyone
Ok here is today's Monday challenge from over at AD THIS & here is my page I did for it!
I thought I should explain how the Ad's work...,you are to take inspiration form the AD in any way you see fit. It may be the color...the actual layout of the ad...the fonts..the theme..the possibilities are endless, it is what YOU see. I took inspiration from the theme "music" and the record.
I got the pics from the Green Day web site that were taken at the Edmonton concert this summer; the little arrow on the picture is actually pointing to ME! I am a pin dot, but it is ME and my awesome friend Holly! I had such a blast doing this LO! This was the BEST concert that I have ever been too, so doing this page totally reminded me of it! All around the edges I wrote the lyrics to "Good Riddance(Time of you Life)" as it just seemed so appropriate cause I did! I took a couple of blank disks and stamped with Stazon ink and the Wild West Alphabet (my fav font stamp set!) The stamp a ma jig was total must for this! My embellishments were sequence I bought cause I knew they would be awesome on a scrap page and I think they look pretty cool here on the disks; I cut out the parenthesis (vintage music sheet thanks to Candace) with the new exclusive SU! Big shot die Hearts & Brackets; I did this all on Kraft 12x12 paper that I used a mask on and glimmer mist. I love making my own pattered paper!
Hope you like the LO and get some great inspiration from the AD, go on over and check it out and leave some love here while your at it..I love reading comments!
Thanks for stopping by
Dawn

I love the stamping in CD's... you definitely think outside the box whereas I seem to be in the box with the lid locked! I love it!

So fun to stamp those CDs, and they make excellent colors :)
