Hi All!

I am so excited to announce this class! First off let me start by saying this class is a TUTORIAL on HOW to make Heidi Swapp Memory Files into "albums"; the project is FULLY customizable and NOT complete.  Now I'm sure your wondering WHAT I mean by not complete; to sum it up in a nut shell, you will NOT be decorating your file with embellishments and layouts until you go home. Your "file album" will be assembled together, you will just  need to add pictures and embellishments later.

  In this tutorial you will learn how to decorate the outside of a file with Tim Holtz Distress Stains and Dylusions Stamps (this is WHERE you will customize to your own tastes, I will have a selection of stains and stamp sets out).  You will also learn how to bind a mini album, attach files together, and make a flippable mini. 

The pictures are of a completed file that will hold over 40, 4x6" photos! You will be able to take your album home to complete the process of adding pictures and embellishments.

Your Tutorial will include a Kit to make the  "file album":

1 Memory File- (random, first come first choose)

1 Manilla File

1 Clip

5 Sheets of Pattern Paper (mix of Amy Tangerine and Heidi Swapp)

1 12x12 Card Stock

1 8.5x11 Card Stock

1 Heidi Swapp "Foto Flipbook" (choose either the Sunglasses one in the last picture, or one with camera)

2 page protectors

Kid's Drop off Class Ages 9+; Tuesday April 24, 4-5pm

You will be able to choose either a "girl" theme kit or "boy" theme kit for this cute class.  Each child will also get to choose their own package of Thickers to finish off a title on the layouts.  The kits are made from Simple Stories amazing lines "Fabulous" and "Awesome" and your children will be able to let their creativity shine by customizing the layouts with which ever elements they want from their tag sheet.

Heidi Swapp Memory Files: Be still my heart!

Hi All!

Again I find myself apologizing for my lack of web posts: I sure hope you've taken the time to follow me on my Facebook Store page; which I update daily, and frequently.

Anyhoo...

For those of you not following me on Facebook: this is a Heidi Swapp Memory File! If you have not heard of these yet, hold onto your socks cause they are simply AMAZING!  First off I will start by saying they are NOT supposed to replace scrapbooking, they are simply another medium for us to play with and express our creativity in a new way!  Plus you can use all the elements in your everyday scrappping.  I'll post two more posts this week with regular layouts I've made with these awesome new lines!

My Memory File sample is made with the AWESOME Color Magic Files.  They start off solid White: you ink them up any way you want; I used the FABULOUS new Dylusions Spray which BEYOND float my boat....the color magic is  a resist paper, everywhere the pattern part is glossy will resist the inks! Presto, you have a custom color project!  I also used Heidi's gorgeous new paper line Sugar Chic, and her amazing new Openable Embellishments, Stix, Neon Pens which are positively my FAVORITE (they write ON pictures!!!), her Banners and much much more!

Hi All

Well as usual, I am blown away with the Design Team's creations.  This month they we told to choose papers from the gorgeous Echo Park Line, This & That.  There is a Girl Collection and a Boy Collection to this line; and to be fair, they all had to choose from the girl line! But I find both the lines are very interchangeable.  Kari's layout is of her son!  I also asked the DT to make some card this month too, and I must say they did a bang up job!

Pop by the shop and grab some gorgeous Echo Park and see DT creations in real life...always better then my pictures!

This months class your kids will receive a  great kit packed with cute My Minds Eye Tags, Stickers and a tiny bottle of Glossy Accents.  They will then make 6 cute cards to keep on hand for their friends birthday's!  Please bring a standard tool kit with trimmer, scissors, adhesive and pop dots.  Also your kids will need their own markers to color the monsters.  Please call the shop to register: only 6 Spots available

Below are just a FEW pictures of all the NEW goodies I've been adding to the shop!  If you have not been in the shop for awhile, come in and check us out! I've expanded AGAIN!  I've literally stuffed the shop FULL! I've got new racking, and shelves up every where now!!! I have a least 10x the amount in the shop now then when I first opened!!!
