Hi Everyone
Yesterday I had a retail therapy day with my sister and then went scrapbooking with my friends, so no posts! SORRY! But today I have a layout for you that I did last night, which is a miracle as I really don't scrap well in groups! My mouth moves faster than my hands, LOL! I just chat away all night while the others crank out 4-5 layout to my one! I really like how it turned out, just needs to have some REAL stitches on it. SO my friend Kari offered to show me how to use a sewing machine! That's right, I'm going to go buy a machine soon and get some lessons from her!
I really like the Lollipop flower I HAND STITCHED on it..NOT glue gunned! LOL! And YES I totally poked my own finger! I even stitched the button on with Linen Thread...are you proud of me?? This is soo easy to do..clearly if I managed it! The directions are actually in my March's Club Planner. Stay Tuned for it to be posted I hope this week. I'm working on a surprise with it at the moment!! Make sure you scroll down to yesturday's post for the tutorial on the Straw Flower with Fabric brad (left flower on the LO).
Anyhoo the LO was made with 12x12 Wild Wasabi C/S,Choc Chip, So Saffron & Tempting Turquoise 8.5'11" C/S, Sweet Stitches DSP 121781, Sweet Stitches Fabric 121818, Sweet Stitches Buttons 123302, Melon Mambo Pompom Trim 123322, Fabric Designer Brads, 121880, Linen Thread 104199, Designer Buttons Subtles 119754 and Neutrals 119743. Letters Non SU!

I love this! Your boys ROCK! I think I'll have to make this to go along with my March club planner page!
turned out great Dawn!!! Can't wait to see what you do with your new sewing machine!!!
So funny Buddy. I CANNOT sew either, but really want to! I picked up this miniature sewing machine (to see if I could even handle that before I graduate to an ACTUAL sewing machine) but of course I haven't even cracked the box yet! You've given me some inspiration!
At first I thought the page was a hybrid MDS page, which would have been equally cool! I see now its all traditional! AND GORGEOUS!
TTYS! xo
